Historic Elegance in Acropolis

Not at all worth the money Positive: Location, space layout Negative: 1. The terrace showed in the presentation pictures was very misleading. I booked the property because of it. Unfortunately it was just a small balcony with very limited view to Acropolis. 2. We requested bed sheets and duvet covers for the sofa bed . The owner promised to bring them but he never did… 3. In the bedroom there were two nice reading lamps that did not work. Both plugs did not work. 4. Attention to details was lacking - an unstable shelf in the living room, a crooked towel rack in the bathroom etc.

Expectation>reality Negative: We chose these apartments specifically because of the advertised stunning view, and we paid a significant amount for it. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it became clear that the reality did not match the photos at all — the view from the balcony was disappointing, and the balcony itself did not meet expectations. There were also some minor inconsistencies in the rooms, but the biggest issue was the clearly misleading presentation of the view. When we contacted Booking support, the owner denied any responsibility, which made the situation even more frustrating. We feel misled and would not recommend these apartments to anyone for whom the advertised features are important.

Great place to stay, minutes from Acropolis. Positive: We loved the spaciousness of the flat, the balcony, and the easy walk to the Acropolis. The street was quite busy but the blinds kept out a lot of noise and light. We enjoyed the neighborhood cafes over the crowded, touristy Placka. Negative: We loved the balcony, and the small corner view of the Odeon and Acropolis, but we imagined the view would be better. We would have appreciated extra towels, as one per person isn't enough for four nights.
